Runner's Expo
The three day Runner's Expo will be held at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. It is famous for its great bargains on all your running needs! Over one hundred booths will display the latest in running fashions! Over 20,000 people visit the Expo! It is located near the finish of the race on Duval Street next to EverBank Field.
Thursday, March 7th from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM
Friday, March 8th from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM
Saturday, March 9th from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM
Packet Pickup
There is only one way for participants to get their race packet, race shirt and Timing Chip: In Person at the Runner's Expo!
Can't Make it to the Runner's Expo?
If you are unable to make it to the Runner's expo to pick up your own packet, your packet may be picked up for you. Fill out the Authorization Card linked below and have the person bring it to the Expo with them.

Volunteer at the Expo
Volunteers are needed to staff the three-day Runner's Expo which will be held on March 7th, 8th and 9th at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt. We need about 200 volunteers to adequately staff the packet pickup area. We would like volunteers to work at least two hour shifts, four hour shifts are the best. All day volunteers will receive a special GATE River Run item. If you or a group are interested in volunteering for the expo or for the race, please drop us an email at firstplacesports@mindspring.com with the date, time, number of volunteers, and also indicate job preference.
Expo Volunteer Schedule
Wednesday, March 6th from 11 AM until 6 PM.
Duties: Unload t-shirts and packets, hang banners and signs, and set up/organize area.
Thursday, March 7th from 10 AM until 6 PM
Duties: Hand out t-shirts and race packets.
Friday, March 8th from 10 AM until 8 PM
Duties: Hand out t-shirts and race packets.
Saturday, March 9th from 6:30 AM until 2 PM
Duties: Hand out t-shirts and race packets, and help load up from noon until 2 PM.
